After its first successful fund raising event in year 2002, Budimas identified and supported five special orphanages in Klang Valley & Selangor that were in dire need of help. Budimas pledged to support these orphanages for 5 years and each of these homes received a generous funding of between RM100,000/- to RM300,000/-.
With the continuous support from the public towards our fund raising projects, Budimas is now able to take care of 10 orphanages with more than 500 children throughout the country. These homes include Asrama Damai Anak-Anak Yatim in Kuang, Persatuan Kebajikan Darul Najjah Kuala Lumpur & Selangor, Bethesda Children’s Mission Home in Cheras, Women’s Aid Organisation (WAO) Child Care Centre, Petaling Jaya, Precious Gift Home & Hannah Home in Ipoh, Chldren’s Protection Society & Persekutuan Kebajikan Anak-Anak Yatim Islam (Perempuan) in Penang, St Theresa & De La Salle Hostel in Kota Marudu, Sabah and Seri Mengasih Centre in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.
Our vision is to build our Budimas Home in 2010 that can accommodate up to 1,000 orphans and underprivileged children at an identified piece of land in Gombak. With your contribution, we can make this vision a reality for the children.
At Budimas, we are committed to giving the very best to these children, a future with good education and to groom them to become responsible and productive citizens to the society.
