Donations from MAA Assurance

The Budimas Charitable Foundation was adopted by MAA Assurance in year 2001, and received its first grant of RM350,000/- in year 2003. MAA Assurance provides a yearly grant to Budimas to assist in organising various fund-raising activities, which helps generate more funds for the Foundation. A portion of the yearly grant also goes to help Budimas fund the annual expenditure of running the Budimas-sponsored homes. Total contributions from MAA Assurance to-date exceeds RM1 Million.

Rotary Club donates 30 wheelchairs

Budimas received 30 wheelchairs from the Rotary Club of Ampang's President, Mr. Micheal Yee, during a presentation ceremony held at Menara MAA on 3 June 2003. The bulk of the wheelchairs were given to Rumah Amal Hashimiah in Sungai Besar, Selangor, while the remainder will be contributed to other individuals and charitable organisations.

MATTA donates RM35,000

The Malaysian Association of Tour & Travel Agents (MATTA) donated a cheque of RM35,000 to the Foundation on 2 June 2005. The amount was raised at the Malaysia Airlines-MATTA Charity Golf held on 1 March 2005. It also made a record in the Malaysian Guinness Book by organising the largest simultaneous tee-off in a golf tournament.

Donation of RM9,260 - CSSB Events

Budimas also received a donation of RM9,260 from CSSB Events Sdn Bhd, a company formed by a group of ex-employees of Malaysian Tobacco Company. The group raised the fund through their charity golf & a small auction held on 10 December 2005 at Saujana Impian Golf Club, Kajang.

Watchshoppe donates RM11,888

The RP Group of Companies are the owners and operators of the Watchshoppe, a retail chain that specialises in timepieces, writing instruments and lighters. In conjunction with its 15th Anniversary in 2006, they organised an anniversary dinner where they auctioned and sold 6 watches during the night to help raise an amount of RM11,888 for Budimas.

PIAM donates to Budimas

General Insurance Industry of Malaysia (PIAM) donated RM6,000 to Budimas from the proceeds of their Insurance Industry Annual Dinner held in December 2006.

Harvey Norman donates 60 single mattresses

In conjunction with the 4th Malaysian International Branded Bedding Fair at Ikano Power Centre, Budimas received 60 units of single mattresses from Harvey Norman’s Managing Director, Mr Angelo Augustus & Mr Eddy Ng, Manager, Bedding Dept on 29 April 2008. The mattresses were given to the homes supported by Budimas.

Donation of RM143, 519 - MBF Cards (M) Sdn Bhd

MBF Cards (M) Sdn Bhd presented RM143,519.00 to The Budimas Charitable Foundation, on 16th November 2009, via the MBF Gold MasterCard where every Ringgit charged to the card, 0.12% will be contributed to the Foundation. MBF Holdings Berhad and MBF Cards Group CEO Tan Sri Dr Ninian Mogan Lourdenadin presented the cheque to Budimas Chairman Y.M. Tunku Dato’ Ya’acob bin Tunku Tan Sri Abdullah. During the presentation held at The Golden Lounge at Menara MAA, Tan Sri Dr Ninian presented Budimas with an additional RM100,000 totalling the contribution to RM243,519.00.
